IOActive Director of Hardware Security Gabriel Gonzalez will be presenting at this year’s RootedCON taking place March 5 in Madrid, Spain. Gabriel’s presentation, “SATCOM: Attacker’s Perspective,” discusses IOActive’s research into vulnerabilities of SATCOM infrastructures. This is a topic that IOActive has continued to warn the industry about, dating back to our findings in 2014. Gabriel expands saying, “From an attacker’s perspective, modern SATCOM systems resemble under-secured enterprise networks – except their failure modes carry national, economic, and physical consequences.”
