Joshua Schmidt is Managing Director of IOActive's Advisory and Risk Management Services Practice. At IOActive, he is responsible for delivery of world class risk management, compliance, and information security services, management of resources, and development of a growing practice. He has over 14 years. experience managing and performing consulting services and audits for the control, security, and privacy of information systems. Prior to joining IOActive, Mr. Schmidt served as the Western Region Director of CTG's Information Security Solutions Practice. He also served as the Pacific Northwest Director of Technology Solutions Services (information security) for a global provider of professional services in the areas of risk, controls, compliance and financial process improvement as well as a similar role at a Big 4 accounting firm. He has worked in a multitude of information systems environments from mainframe to distributed systems at Internet start-ups, financial institutions, government agencies, healthcare organizations, and global corporations.
