ILJA VAN SPRUNDEL TO PRESENT AT EUSECWEST
IOActive's Principal Security Consultant was selected to present at EUSecWest and discuss the exploitation of applications written in Delphi/Pascal
Seattle, Wash—May 11, 2009. IOActive, a leading provider of comprehensive security services, today announced that Ilja van Sprundel, one of their Principal Security Consultants, was selected to present at the upcoming EUSecWest conference in London, England. After extensive research, van Sprundel found that in terms of auditing and exploitation, applications written in Delphi/Pascal are similar to programs written in C and C++. His presentation will draw parallels between applications written in these programming languages and discuss how applications written in Delphi/Pascal are also vulnerable to stack and heap overflows.
