IOActive’s Mike Ridpath to Present at Black Hat USA 2011

IOActive’s Security Consultant to demonstrate the GMAps-Trafficker tool.

Seattle, Wash—July 28, 2011. Ridpath will present his proof-of-concept tool that showcases how one can break SSL sessions in Google Maps. The tool allows you to build profiles from scraped Google Maps satellite tiles and then, based on that profile data, break SSL sessions and reconstruct at which locations a user is looking.

About Mike Ridpath
As a Security Consultant at IOActive, Mike Ridpath works directly with enterprise clients to deliver time-sensitive, mission-critical engagements that assess the security of networks and applications including both physical and social engineering penetration tests.
