Jim Reavis to Present at Source Boston

President of IOActive's Strategic Advisory Board to discuss security issues with cloud computing and a roadmap for overcoming these problems

Seattle, Wash—April 19, 2010. IOActive, a leading provider of software assurance, compliance, and smart grid security services, today announced that the President of its Strategic Advisory Board will present Cloud Security: The Road Ahead at SOURCE Boston. Launched in 2008, the purpose of the SOURCE Conference is to bridge the gap between technical excellence and business acumen within the security industry.

During this presentation, Reavis will discuss some of the strategic cloud security issues we face today and issues we likely will face in the future. In addition, he will give an overview of the Version 2 Security Guidance for Critical Areas of Focus in Cloud Computing, created by the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), and provide a roadmap for CSA research priorities in the coming year.

About Jim Reavis
As the president of IOActive's Advisory Board, Jim Reavis helps direct corporate strategy and acts as the external liaison to the information security industry. He has been involved in the security industry for over two decades as an entrepreneur, writer, speaker, technologist, and business strategist.
