JOSHUA PENNELL TO PRESENT AT THE OWASP SCOTLAND MEETING
IOActive's Founder and President to discuss the 2010 application security threatscape
Seattle, Wash—September 14, 2009. IOActive, a leading provider of software assurance, compliance and Smart Grid security services, today announced that its president and founder, Joshua Pennell, will present 2010 AppSec Challenges and Notes from the Field at Scotland's September OWASP meeting.
The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) is a worldwide free and open community focused on improving the security of application software. Its mission is to make application security visible, so that people and organizations can make informed decisions about true application security risks. Leveraging IOActive's wide body of research, Pennell's presentation will highlight various application security risks that will arise in 2010. The presentation will cover current and future threats to web 2.0, Smart Grid, mobile, and cloud computing environments.
