IOActive’s James Lester to Present at ISSA Rainier

IOActive’s Security Consultant will discuss Securing Web Applications

Seattle, Wash—May 31, 2011. In his presentation, Lester will deliver an introduction to the ins and outs of securing web applications, drawing from the most talked-about compromises of 2011. Starting from the perspective that vulnerability scanning tools are insufficient to secure online assets, Lester will further demonstrate that many methods currently believed to offer protection can be broken, leading to such costly financial and reputational nightmares as happened to HBgary, Epsilon, and PlayStation.
