DAN KAMINSKY TO PRESENT A WEBCAST WITH FELLOW DNS EXPERTS

IOActive's Director of Penetration Testing, Dan Kaminksy, to present alongside leading experts to discuss current DNS security issues and how to address them using DNSSEC

Seattle, Wash—June 9, 2009. IOActive, a leading provider of software assurance, compliance and smart grid security services, today announced that Dan Kaminsky, IOActive Director of Penetration Testing, was selected to present at a webcast with leading DNS experts, Cricket Liu and Scott Rose.

During the webcast, hosted by Infoblox, presenters will address growing concerns about DNS security and how DNSSEC fits within the DNS security structure. To highlight the importance of DNS security, implementation of DNSSEC will become mandated for U.S. government agencies by December 2010, and several countries are beginning to require DNSSEC for key industries. This webcast will inform participants about growing DNS security concerns, as well as how to plan for DNSSEC adoption and deployment considerations.
