TED IPSEN SCHEDULED TO PRESENT AT HTCIA CONFERENCE
IOActive Vice President to deliver Application Security in PCI Talk at Upcoming Cybercrime and Forensics Conference
Seattle, Wash—October 20, 2008. Ted Ipsen will deliver a 90-minute presentation at HTCIA about threats relevant to payment card data and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. This information will be supplemented with a discussion of common attacks used to exploit vulnerable systems and applications, in addition to methods employed to steal data. By the end of the presentation, viewers will gain a better understanding of the basic concept of application security, and how organizations can build proactive programs to reduce their exposure to attack and exploitation of systems.
