Scott Dunlop to Present at Notacon 7
IOActive's Senior Security Consultant to demonstrate how NoSpex can consolidate information from log files and simplify analysis
Seattle, Wash—April 7, 2010. IOActive, a leading provider of software assurance, compliance, and smart grid security services, today announced that Scott Dunlop, one of their Senior Security Consultants, will present NoSpex: Giving Process Interaction a Visual Context at Notacon 7. Notacon is an annual conference that explores and showcases technologies, philosophy, and creativity that are sometimes overlooked at mainstream security conferences.
Dunlop will discuss how security professionals can utliize NoSpex to consolidate information from log files and create a visual context to simplify analysis. During his presentation, he will demonstrate how to use NoSpex to trace API calls in a simple application as well as merge information from many HTTP servers to show the flow of information through a complicated web application.
